Key responsibilities & impact- Work as an individual contributor with the Product Security Assurance Team
- Deliver security testing across Building Automation
- Assist in developing modular, repeatable, and effective security testing processes
- Partner with the Tools and Technology Team to select, implement, develop, and automate testing with appropriate tools
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop remediation suggestions
- Report observations using the standardized reporting structure
- Assess and evaluate the security posture of Honeywell products and partner technologies
- Deliver security services using application, network, firmware, and hardware security toolsets
- Detect security defects and provide remediation consultation
- Identify potential attack techniques and support continuous improvement of the product development lifecycle
- Support the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions
- Fortify defenses against emerging threats and address technical challenges
Requirements
What you’ll need- Cybersecurity capabilities and strong software engineering skills
- Exposure to security testing within the appropriate domain
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience (preferred)
- 6–24 months of experience in security testing (preferred)
- Basic understanding of security-by-design principles and architecture-level security concepts
- Current knowledge of security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Experience in security testing within the appropriate domain
- Relevant security certifications
- Experience and knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools
- Public speaking at technical conferences
- Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected U.S. asylum/refugee status, or able to obtain export authorization
