Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with demand planning activities for specific business areas
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to collect, clean, and structure company data
- Update and monitor statistical demand forecasting models
- Create, maintain, and update Power BI reports and dashboards
- Monitor KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy and Bias
- Prepare reporting, presentations, and Executive Summaries for S&OP and ILT meetings
- Analyze sales against historical data to identify consumption patterns, seasonality, and anomalies
- Help prevent stockout or overstock situations
- Experiment with native Power BI AI features such as Anomaly Detection and Smart Narratives
- Monitor sales performance of new product launches and support predictive modeling by analogy
- Monitor product transitions and remaining stock to reduce obsolescence
- Develop ad-hoc analyses and scenario simulations for management requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education in Data Science/Analyst, Statistics, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Italian and English is mandatory
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, including pivot tables and database management
- Knowledge of statistical tools such as Python, R, or SQL
- Excellent communication, relational, and problem-solving skills
