About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a key participant in GTC projects, delivering on objectives and deploying solutions
Support execution of compliant trade flows and advise on customs-related topics, including new trade flow setups
Ensure compliance with import and export laws and regulations across the EMEA region
Confirm trade controls activities align with company policies and procedures
Support and maintain GTC documentation and processes, including regional deployment
Serve as a point of contact for the EMEA GTC team’s interaction with Global Trade Segment teams, the Regional Trade Operations Team, and/or local Direct Responsible Individuals
Provide guidance to business partners on Trade Controls processes and procedures that adhere to Customs laws and regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor or masters degree or the equivalent in Customs and International Trade (including Export Control and Trade Sanctions)
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Customs or Trade Compliance, or strong interest in the functional area
Experience and/or training in HTS code determination, customs valuation principles, rules of origin, free trade agreements, AEO in EMEA, Incoterms, and export control classification preferred
Fluent in English
Other languages welcome

Good interpersonal skills and ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority
