About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and supervise Invoice-to-Cash VIE delivery activities for serviced OMV Group clients
- Plan and steer initiatives to improve and develop services, organization, processes, and systems
- Coordinate and supervise the I2C VIE delivery department
- Assign work to team members to meet agreed objectives, KPIs, and SLAs
- Lead, manage, and develop the subordinated team through professional and personal leadership
- Plan staffing quantitatively and qualitatively
- Interact with clients and identify and assess new business requirements and needs
- Resolve complex issues using functional expertise and business insights
- Participate in multifunctional Group projects for process simplification, digitalization, and automation
- Define and manage KPI integrity, data and systems maintenance, and stakeholder reporting
- Contribute to end-to-end process optimization and efficiency improvement
- Identify and implement process, procedure, and guideline improvements in coordination with the O2C Process Manager
- Identify risks and implement mitigation controls; use ICS reporting to ensure compliance and manage performance and risks
- Support cross-country and cross-cultural integration, knowledge exchange, department development, and best-practice implementation
- Provide financial data and records for monthly, quarterly, and year-end audits and implement resulting measures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Finance
- More than 7 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, including international assignments
- At least 3 years’ experience in team coordination, preferably in a Shared/Global Service Center, with budget responsibilities
- Experience leading and developing people and multidisciplinary teams
- Broad knowledge of accounting processes and project management skills
- Solid knowledge of general accounting processes, including General Ledger and Receivables
- Knowledge of finance-related legislation
- Ability to independently assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions
- Good knowledge of the Order to Cash process and ICS for O2C
- Good MS Office and SAP knowledge, especially SAP FI and SAP SD
- Excellent management experience in an international environment
- Advanced expertise in innovation; project management certificate is an advantage
- Experience leading cross-country and intercultural teams
- Ability to support the elaboration of internal rules and guidelines
- Excellent Finance and Accounting knowledge and principles applied in the Upstream, Downstream, and Gas industry
- Advanced English (C1)
- German language (C1)
