About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strengthen the technical foundations of Performativ’s platform for enterprise scale
  • Improve platform performance, reliability, observability, and operational foundations
  • Work across services, data flows, APIs, background processing, databases, cloud infrastructure, and operational tooling
  • Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability limitations using production evidence
  • Improve observability through metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts
  • Strengthen services, data processing, deployment workflows, and operational safeguards
  • Contribute across Python, Golang, PHP, TypeScript, MySQL, Redis, AWS, containers, and CI/CD tooling
  • Direct AI agents to produce implementation, critically review decisions and output, and establish tests and operational evidence for safe deployment
  • Lead when appropriate, follow through on commitments, contribute to others’ work, and help teammates succeed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Broad software-engineering experience
  • Practical understanding of how production systems behave under real usage
  • Ability to understand systems, investigate evidence, and deliver sound solutions
  • Ability to recognise weak designs, incorrect assumptions, missing failure modes, and unsafe production behaviour
  • Experience with distributed systems, performance analysis, database optimisation, cloud infrastructure, observability, or high-volume data processing would be valuable
  • Experience contributing across services, data flows, APIs, background processing, databases, cloud infrastructure, and operational tooling
  • Familiarity with Python, Golang, PHP, TypeScript, MySQL, Redis, AWS, containers, and CI/CD tooling is valuable but exact-stack expertise is not required
  • Ability to direct AI agents, critically review their output, and establish tests and operational evidence for safe deployment
  • Must work hours that substantially overlap with the team’s working day in Copenhagen
  • Must be based in the Philippines
