About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of manufacturing, packaging, and related facilities equipment
- Perform general maintenance tasks as needed
- Complete general work orders in SAP
- Use Redzone
- Interface with technicians across all three shifts in a team environment
- Rebuild equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Participate in special projects
- Weld and machine parts as needed

- Adhere to timelines for work completion

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED required
- A State of Michigan licensed HVAC Journey worker
- Demonstrated cooperative work conduct and ability to work independently
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong oral and written communication skills required
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to read and work from blueprints
- Good math skills preferred
- Commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines through good attendance
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends
- Ability to work from ladders and lifts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Own transportation necessary
- Must have or be able to obtain a PIE equipment certification shortly after taking the role
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
- Willingness to mentor and work with others
- Ability to wear negative and/or positive pressure respirators daily for long periods
- Must be medically cleared to wear respirators without restrictions
