Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and implement a scalable, secure GCP data platform for analytics and AI across RWS
- Create reusable, modular Terraform infrastructure-as-code for repeatable environment and data-product provisioning
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated, controlled and auditable infrastructure and data-code deployments
- Design and build data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, Cloud Composer and Knowledge Catalog
- Leverage AI agents and automation to accelerate pipeline delivery and increase engineering-team throughput
- Own the platform end to end, from infrastructure as code and CI/CD through to data pipelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expert-level Terraform
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar automated build and deployment tools
- Deep GCP experience, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform, Cloud Composer and Pub/Sub
- Strong knowledge of IAM, RBAC, VPC design and firewall configuration
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with Java or Scala
- Solid ELT/ETL design experience
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark
- Azure experience alongside GCP is a bonus
- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes is a bonus
- Practical experience using AI agents or copilots is a bonus
- Knowledge or experience implementing data products and data mesh principles is a bonus
