About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor and coordinate customer service delivery
- Inform candidates about available office services
- Assist candidates with required Career Success activities and Career Success Plans
- Help candidates access Employ Florida Marketplace, labor market information, job-search resources, email accounts, online applications, and unemployment-claim services
- Review and assist with resumes, virtual recruiters, assessments, interviewing, education referrals, orientations, training, and career counseling
- Schedule appointments with Career Development Coaches and screen for and schedule DVOP appointments as applicable
- Provide Welcome Desk support and track candidate traffic through KIOSK/VOS Greeter
- Inform and refer candidates to workshops, computer lab services, workforce skills programs, online learning, and veteran services
- Document referrals, services, and follow-up activities in Employ Florida according to local operating procedures
- Support DCF, UC, and other partner-agency online applications
- Support the Business Services Team, attend team meetings, and coordinate activities with staff
- Provide administrative support, including routine duties, special projects, and data analysis projects
- Participate in job fairs, onsite recruitment, and business events
- Maintain compliance with personnel procedures and perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Level 2 security background screening, including fingerprinting and local, state, and national law enforcement records check
- Must complete Tier One Training and pass the Tier One Certificate Exam within 60 days of hiring
- Knowledge of the business community
- Interpersonal, public relations, computer data entry, oral and written communication, telephone, and customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and implement CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion policies and procedures
- Ability to meet or exceed performance goals and monitoring standards
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Time management, oral and written communication, and work organization skills
- Proficiency in Employ Florida Marketplace, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software
- Basic sales techniques
- Familiarity with business services
- Travel may be required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Two years' experience in customer service, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
