Key responsibilities & impact- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders via telehealth
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and DBT
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, Medical Assistants, and Peer Recovery Specialists on patient care plans
- Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines
- Improve access and care for disadvantaged and marginalized populations
- Model compassion and foster trust with patients and communities
- Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and available resources
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or LISW, IMFT in Ohio
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders
- Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting
- Certification in addiction counseling is a plus
- Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is a plus
- Strong knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities
- Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, can-do mentality, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Passion for Steadfast Health’s mission to provide low-barrier, non-punitive, harm-reductionist SUD care
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during patient sessions and team meetings
- Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling clinical documentation
- Ability to quickly respond to emergencies, including assisting patients in distress or crisis situations
- Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient needs, read documentation, and communicate effectively
- Potential exposure to high-stress situations requiring emotional resilience and de-escalation skills
