Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct technical analysis of agricultural claims, assessing coverage, documentation, reports, and other evidence to support indemnity decisions
- Independently manage an assigned claims portfolio, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with established deadlines
- Monitor operational and technical metrics, identifying deviations and proposing improvement actions
- Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other teams involved in the claims process
- Identify opportunities to simplify and continuously improve processes
- Participate in local and global Claims projects, supporting transformation, digitalization, and innovation initiatives
- Share technical knowledge within the team, promoting the continuous advancement of processes and best practices
- Represent the Claims function with brokers and strategic partners, building long-term relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in agricultural claims
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret technical information and translate it into sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Preferred: knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other data analysis tools
- Preferred: experience working with brokers, clients, or business partners
- Preferred: participation in continuous improvement or process transformation initiatives
- Preferred: Spanish proficiency
