Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and own data-driven solutions in the Canadian Personal Line of Credit domain
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, gather requirements, and translate business needs into analytical solutions
- Use Python, Pyspark, and SQL to extract and prepare data
- Apply statistics and advanced analytics to inform recommendations and insights from large datasets
- Visualize data insights to clearly convey results to decision-makers and stakeholders

Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of relevant experience in a data science role
- Academic background in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Knowledge and application of Python / Pyspark, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, and Databricks on large datasets
- Track record of delivering business impact and results
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting insights to executive leaders and business partners
- Ability to work as part of a team with targeted deliverables
- Knowledge of advanced statistical inference techniques is considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of consumer lending – Personal Line of Credit/Loans is preferred
