About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality virtual and in-person therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and caregivers
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and families
- Understand patient and family needs and support engagement in treatment
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic approaches that foster long-term progress
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Maintain a full caseload through immediate patient referrals
- Participate in weekly clinical consultation and peer support
- Focus on patient care while the organization handles credentialing, billing, insurance, and EMR
Requirements
What you’ll need- Independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in at least one U.S. state
- Willingness to obtain licensure in one or more of Blackbird's operating states; Blackbird covers the cost
- One year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients
- One year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
- Own your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet
- Flexibility to work after 3pm ET during the week and/or weekends
- Ability to provide therapy to children, adolescents, young adults ages 2–26, and caregivers
