Key responsibilities & impact- Deploy and manage build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS
- Drive work to timely completion using task management tools such as Jira in an Agile-like environment
- Participate in and lead status and standup meetings, sprint planning, and tasking
- Collaborate with embedded systems software team members and cross-functional engineers to deliver mission-critical software infrastructure and tools on time and at high quality
- Ensure documentation, testing, inspection, and analysis verify compliance with requirements and goals
- Execute and provide feedback for flight software design, development, unit testing, and release processes
- Contribute to end-to-end build systems, configuration, CI/CD pipelines, internal tool integration, device emulators, and emulation environments
- Support software requirements and test plans for related capabilities and features
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- At least six (6) years of experience delivering and maintaining commercial/embedded software in a production environment
- Expertise in engineering clean and maintainable Python and Bash code
- Experience with version control and continuous integration
- Expertise with developer toolchains, build tools and pipelines, such as Git, GitLab, GitLab CI, Jenkins, JIRA
- Expertise working with Linux toolchains and environments (Gnu toolchain, QEMU, Buildroot, Yocto)
- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment
- Proven experience delivering products on time and on budget
- Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work across teams and skill sets in a diverse environment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- US citizenship required due to program requirements
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations for ITAR compliance
