Key responsibilities & impact- Gather and document detailed requirements for business needs
- Determine moderately complex solution designs with input from others
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
- Lead conversations with business stakeholders and users on needs and goals
- Translate complex business requirements into functional designs
- Identify interdependencies in applications and supporting teams
- Help with backlog grooming, story scrubbing, and planning with the Product Owner and Scrum Master
- Support developers on solution requirements and functional design questions
- Perform moderate troubleshooting
- Organize demos and testing sessions with QA and the business
- Conduct functional reviews to ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and testable
- Perform manual testing against business requirements
- Identify and validate advanced test scenarios

Requirements
What you’ll need- Must demonstrate advanced understanding of business analysis principles/methodologies and ability to adapt practices to business climate and needs
- Consistent demonstration of quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
- Proficiency in researching, understanding industry standards and tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across large teams and departmental settings
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while balancing priorities and deadlines
- Experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
- Professionalism when managing different perspectives
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience and/or training
- Knowledge of basic database queries using SQL/MySQL for data validation and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of software design
- Experience with web-based projects
- Experience partnering with stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones
- Bachelor in Computer Science, another relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools is a plus
