About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for demand planning and conducting framework agreement negotiations with suppliers
- Select and manage suppliers, including evaluating their performance and identifying new potential suppliers
- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers
- Draft and administer contracts, including monitoring delivery dates and managing deviations
- Review supplier invoices and process complaints
- Create purchase orders and coordinate order confirmations
- Support the Head of Procurement in developing procurement strategies and optimizing sourcing processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education (HTL/university of applied sciences degree) in mechanical engineering or a similar field
- At least 10 years of experience in technical procurement
- Strong negotiation skills and technical understanding
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10%)
- Fluent German and English, with strong negotiation proficiency
