- Resolve algorithmic bottlenecks in the data engine and adapt research for new robotics product capabilities
- Integrate foundational tracking outputs into pipelines reasoning about physical contact surfaces and object affordances
- Own the hand-object perception loop for Mecka AI's robotics data engine
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep expertise in Deep Learning, 3D Computer Vision, and Articulated Tracking / Hand Pose Estimation
- Proven experience training large-scale vision models from scratch
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of parametric hand models, inverse kinematics, and dense mesh estimation
- Mastery of PyTorch and deep learning scaling frameworks
- Experience handling and curating massive, multi-terabyte image and video datasets
- Experience with massive egocentric manipulation datasets such as Ego4D, Ego-Exo4D, DexYCB, or Epic-Kitchens
- First-author publications in top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or NeurIPS
- Experience writing custom CUDA kernels for 3D operations, differentiable mesh rendering, or collision/contact computation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
