About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead day-to-day accounting and tax operations across all Group companies, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including the consolidation of financial statements
- Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS, local GAAP and myDATA requirements
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities and regulatory bodies
- Oversee warehouse operations and ensure effective inventory management and control
- Follow up affiliate companies abroad
- Own the Group Transfer Pricing file, ensuring proper coordination and compliance with applicable requirements
- Mentor, develop and support accounting team members, fostering professional growth and operational excellence
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and business decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in accounting, taxation and finance, including experience in a Chief Accountant or similar senior role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, applicable GAAP and tax regulations
- Good knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV
- Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, integrity and a high level of professionalism
