Key responsibilities & impact- Review product requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand use cases and acceptance criteria
- Design, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, and work with developers to resolve them
- Perform end-to-end testing of workflows, including user interfaces, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Validate data accuracy across systems, particularly in financial and transaction flows
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and QA retrospectives as part of the Agile development cycle
- Help maintain QA documentation, including test plans, testing procedures, and release checklists
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in a fintech or highly regulated environment
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience testing web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman for manual API testing
- Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Hands-on experience using AI tools within the testing lifecycle, generating test cases and test data, authoring or maintaining automated tests, and analyzing failures with sound judgment about validating AI output
- Exposure to cross-border payments or banking systems
- Familiarity with compliance testing (KYC, AML, etc.)
- Interest in learning test automation over time
