Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in the Cloud&Platforms Practice responsible for Prometeia’s cloud services and platforms enabling its SaaS offering
Operate and ensure the correct execution of workloads on AWS and Azure cloud hyperscaler platforms
Collaborate in designing and implementing cloud applications
Support application migration, evolution and modernization projects
Support application deployment and release
Configure, maintain and continuously improve native operations tools and third-party multi-cloud solutions for monitoring, observability, performance, capacity and cost optimization
Develop and maintain toolchains, automation tools and DevOps pipelines in Platform Engineering & Operations
Participate in internal product and solution development projects and customer projects, including international projects
Maintain and evolve skills, follow market innovations and experiment with new solutions to improve service quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Understanding of Cloud Native technologies, including containerization, Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration, serverless architecture and Helm
Basic knowledge of day-2 operations, monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor and Datadog
Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting
Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions, Jenkins and Azure DevOps
Practical knowledge of major public cloud platforms, with experience in at least Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Azure knowledge including Compute, Storage, AKS, Entra, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, or AWS knowledge including Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, CloudWatch and S3
Basic experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems
Familiarity with application stacks and architecture, preferably Java- and .NET-based
Knowledge of relational SQL databases and NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis
Knowledge of data and analytics platforms such as Databricks
Problem-solving skills
Aptitude for working in a flexible and dynamic team environment
Good interpersonal skills
