About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure implementation of current clinical best practices in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer and Health Center Director
- Provide leadership and supervisory support to assigned providers
- Function as a primary care physician in a team-based, patient-centered medical home
- Provide primary and preventative medical care
- Support continuous access to on-site and virtual primary and preventative medical, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, nutrition, and community outreach services
- Contribute to Rogue Community Health’s mission of providing quality healthcare and services to medically underserved community members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within one year of employment in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Completion of a residency program as an MD or DO is required
- Current unencumbered Oregon medical license
- DEA
- NPI
- BLS certification
- Required to complete a criminal background check
- Required to complete a pre-employment drug screen once a conditional offer is accepted
- Employees must be flexible regarding work location and may be reassigned to another Rogue Community Health work site
- Benefit eligibility requires working 20 hours per week or more
