Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver IT solutions for Operations, including production, assembly and test, and plant maintenance organizations
- Engage with operations stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions
- Partner with cross-functional Digital Technology teams, third-party software vendors, partners, and subject matter experts
- Propose solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and apply best practices and technologies
- Define process opportunities that streamline business processes and drive business benefits
- Perform technical and functional problem solving and ensure integration with other applications
- Support the SAP ECC environment and production and engine center projects
- Participate in the SAP S/4HANA digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream
- Document business requirements and translate them into specification documents
- Provide seamless integration between Operations and enterprise applications
- Lead or participate in ERP projects and align stakeholders on vision, scope, schedule, and budget
- Identify, evaluate, and implement continuous business improvements through standard application configurations
- Provide knowledge transfer to post-go-live support teams
- Travel as required by business and project needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field and 8+ years of Information Technology experience, including customer-facing experience, requirements gathering, functional/technical solution design, support, and project management/delivery; OR advanced degree and 5+ years of Information Technology or related-field experience with the same qualifications
- 5+ years of SAP configuration experience in the SAP Production Planning module
- SAP S/4 experience is desired
- Strong communication, facilitation, and analytical skills
- Project management experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- SAP PP certification (ECC/S4) or equivalent experience preferred
- Working knowledge of other SAP modules preferred
- Strong technical experience in a complex SAP landscape preferred
- Leadership of successful process improvement initiatives preferred
- Process development and implementation across organizational boundaries preferred
- Agile mindset and experience implementing and supporting scaled agile practices preferred
- Program debugging experience preferred
- BTP/MES experience preferred
- Ability and availability to travel based on business/project needs
