Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, test, and deploy Visualization/SCADA solutions for Cencora’s Material Handling business requirements
- Assist with development of displays and programming of SCADA clients/servers
- Create and modify documentation for new and existing infrastructure
- Work with PLC functions, syntax, and programming techniques to support development, testing, and rollout of process control systems
- Participate in designing, developing, testing, and implementing technologies supporting organizational cybersecurity needs
- Create and modify SCADA solution, standards, and training-guide documentation
- Keep management updated with accurate project and task information
- Participate in requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance lifecycle phases
- Assist with business intelligence initiatives and projects
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Understanding of software solutions
- Four-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum of two (2) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience
- Programming skills in SQL Server/Oracle
- Understanding SCADA concepts and functions
- Experience with User Interface design and optimization preferred
- Programming skills in Visual Studio/Java/Python preferred
- Knowledge of Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC interfaces, syntax, and networking is a plus
- Experience with HTML and SVG files is a plus
- Experience with writing test plans and user acceptance testing is a plus
- Issue resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including debugging application code and interface messaging
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with technical and non-technical resources, external vendors, and various organizational levels
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a team player
- Strong decision-making and customer service skills
- Ability to work on several initiatives and production issues while meeting committed development delivery dates and managing individuals/teams as required
- Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
