Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Production Master Data objects including material masters, bills of materials, document info records, routings, work centers, and EHS master data
- Support associative Digital Technology activities involving tools, structures, systems, and processes such as email, ticketing, SAP, standard work, and business process automation
- Primarily support the Collins S4 HANA project and deliver Production Master Data solutions
- Select, implement, develop, maintain, and support business systems and Digital Technology applications
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and align digital services, service levels, technology, management, and initiatives with business needs
- Represent the business in enterprise-wide and corporate initiatives
- Act as primary Digital Technology-business contact and advocate for high-quality digital services
- Collaborate with Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, functional stakeholders, and Project Management to manage and document the Digital Technology portfolio
- Configure, develop, program, and test new applications and legacy systems
- Understand requirements, design and build system solutions, provide testing documentation, support business testing, update GSM tickets, and provide solution documentation and knowledge transfer
- Analyze business and technical processes to identify system updates or new system needs
- Configure and enhance SAP and update supporting master data using mass update tools
- Coordinate with business and Digital Technology teams to define system requirements and reporting outputs
- Lead planning, development, testing, and implementation of Digital Technology projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Author specifications, user documentation, program functions, and test scripts for SAP enhancements, programs, and reports
- Coordinate Production Master Data tasks in Collins projects
- Create and maintain Production Master Data SAP application documentation, policies, procedures, controls, standard work, and data governance guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Expert in project management fundamentals
- PL/SQL knowledge, including DML/DDL tables, views, functions, packages, and stored procedures
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Access
- SAP experience, especially LSMW, CEWB, CG02, and MM17 transactions
- Experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, SIPOC, root cause analysis, and data analysis/manipulation
- Experience supporting unit, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing of an Oracle/.NET application
- Query, view, function, and procedure analysis and tuning
- Index analysis and recommendations for application performance
- Understanding of multi-level Bill of Material data
- Oracle CONNECT BY functions for hierarchical data
- SAP data model experience preferred
- .NET client application experience desired; direct .NET programming skills not required
- General understanding of Cost, Manufacturing, and Purchasing business functions
