Key responsibilities & impact- Build and integrate high-performance security tools and custom scripts into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and SIEM
- Develop and secure Terraform/IaC templates to harden cloud infrastructure before production
- Lead the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle and prioritize remediation across network, cloud, and application layers using a risk-based approach
- Partner with DevOps and Product teams on threat modeling and architectural reviews
- Act as technical lead for SOC2 and ISO 27001 audits
- Use automation to provide evidence of consistent monitoring and timely risk closure
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production security issues using distributed tracing and modern monitoring tools
- Secure Salesforce's distributed microservices architecture on GCP
- Build automated, high-performance tools that improve security across the engineering organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Security Engineering experience for SMTS
- 7+ years of Security Engineering experience for LMTS
- 9+ years of Security Engineering experience for PMTS
- Focus on building security tools rather than only managing them
- Strong experience in Go, Java, or Python
- Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming and automation
- Deep experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms
- Deep experience with Terraform
- Experience managing cloud security posture (CSPM) and infrastructure
- Practical experience with network protocols
- Practical experience with Linux OS hardening
- Knowledge of modern attack vectors
- Desire to work cross-functionally with DevOps to embed security into the SDLC
- Experience with secure software development lifecycle practices (preferred)
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes container security tools (preferred)
- Experience contributing to or building open source tools (preferred)
