Key responsibilities & impact- Provides high-level technical input and guidance on complex project definition, application design, implementation, integration, cost estimation, standardization, and support
- Leads day-to-day operations of data platforms and delivery of functional enhancements involving the team
- Operates and maintains uptime of Snowflake, Qlik, and Boomi data platforms
- Identifies efficiency opportunities and streamlines processes and technology with teams
- Prioritizes service requests with the manager and leads self-organizing work assignment efforts
- Provides technical assistance, manages project schedules and tasks, and ensures timely delivery
- Guides database engineers, database administrators, and back-office application support teams in designing, developing, testing, and implementing projects
- Makes independent decisions regarding design, development, timelines, and implementation
- Supports projects throughout all phases of the SDLC and ensures successful delivery
- Performs database and integration support for major applications
- Designs database architecture and integration additions to existing applications and systems
- Evaluates applications and identifies performance and automation opportunities
- Establishes development and implementation processes across the IT organization
- Coordinates teams using SCRUM/Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Researches industry trends and proposes new technologies
- Develops technical project estimates for small to medium-scale projects
- Acts as a senior technical resource across multiple projects and guides software component design, deliverables, and integrations
- Shares technology expertise and trains and mentors others
- Provides management with accurate and timely status reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required
- 7-10 years of prior relevant experience required
- Experience with Snowflake required
- SnowPro Certified preferred
- Qlik & Boomi experience preferred
- Database Platforms High
