Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop reliable, high-performance data architectures
- Manage the entire data lifecycle, from connecting diverse sources through transformation and modeling to delivery
- Provide data for applications, dashboards, and analyses
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to integrate data-driven features
- Contribute to technical concepts and effort estimates

Requirements
What you’ll need- At least five years of practical experience in data engineering
- Experience designing and taking responsibility for data platforms
- Ability to communicate complex data and architectural topics clearly
- Fluent in Python and SQL
- Experience with pandas, PostgreSQL, and Docker
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Scheduler, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
- Knowledge of performance and cost optimization
- Experience with orchestrated pipelines, automated transformation testing, data quality checks, linting, and formatting
- Ability to evaluate technological trends soundly and distinguish hype from genuine value
- Experience with AI-assisted workflows and coding agents
- Experience with FastAPI is desirable
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow is an advantage
- Experience integrating AI models into data processes, for example via Vertex AI, is an advantage
- Experience at a digital agency and/or media company is an advantage
