Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business goals, security challenges, and technology environments
- Assess customer security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities

- Develop comprehensive solution proposals and technical documentation

- Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to validate and refine proposed solutions

- Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams
- Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales delivery teams following opportunity closure
- Scope and assist in SOW creation for professional services aligned with recommended products and solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture
- Broad understanding of enterprise Cloud environments and securing hybrid environments
- Strong knowledge of identity, network security, endpoint protection, data protection, and security operations
- Familiarity with NIST, CIS, and HITRUST security frameworks and standards
- Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, systems integrator, or technology provider environment
- Strong presentation skills, including live or virtual demonstrations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, organization, and follow-up
- Initiative to research, learn, and resolve problems with a positive, collaborative mindset
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and passion for technology
- Strong documentation skills, including system and network diagrams and customer-facing presentations
- Intermediate experience with security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS
- Intermediate identity governance and security knowledge, including CNAPP, CWPP, CIEM, and CDR
- Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services
- Expertise in Wiz, Orca, Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, and CrowdStrike
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SSCP
- Relevant industrial, OEM, vendor, or professional cybersecurity certifications
- Must reside in the TOLA region of the United States as required for business needs and as determined by SHI management
