About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide physical, repetitive agricultural labor supporting Cultivation department operations
- Support the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance and sanitation responsibilities
- Provide support in veg, mom, and propagation as determined by business need
- Follow directions and take instructions from supervisors
- Climb ladders or work on elevated platforms
- Net and trellis flower plants
- Load plants and place emitters
- Tuck and spread plants as directed
- Prune and defoliate plants
- Use PPE according to company guidelines
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material to clean grow rooms
- Clean, sanitize, and store grow room tools and equipment
- Perform manual cross-department job duties as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements

- Cultivation experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry it a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to stand, sit, climb ladders, use stairways, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform repetitive movements, and reach for extended periods
- Requires repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movement
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and visual inspection of small parts/details in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, and others
