About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide exceptional customer service
- Communicate with customers professionally, explaining work completed and reviewing safety evaluations, activity reports, maintenance checklists and related topics
- Provide onsite customer training for machine operation and/or maintenance
- Execute preventive maintenance on TRUMPF CNC machines, including laser-cutting, punching, press-brake and laser-punch combination machines, according to checklists and TRUMPF guidelines
- Work with Product Support for technical assistance and provide diagnostic feedback
- Coordinate with the PM scheduler on planning and scheduling missions
- Submit organized mission reports within one day after completing missions, accurately reporting technical conditions and information
- Submit complete and organized expense reports by the week after credit card charges occur
- Support further development of the PM Group by suggesting efficiency and quality improvements and updating or correcting PM checklists
- Choose the most economical travel method, flying or driving, through the Travel Agency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two-year technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience
- Experience in computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful
- Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds without aid
- Requires 100% nationwide travel, including overnight stays and occasional weekend travel
- Flexible / adaptable attitude regarding last minute changes to schedule and mission
