About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the Company’s and its subsidiaries’ Consolidation and Reporting activities
  • Prepare statutory and management information and reports, including individual and consolidated financial statements, notes to the financial statements, management reports, and presentations
  • Perform equity method accounting calculations
  • Record accounting information accurately in accordance with accounting principles and standards, legislation, deadlines, and the Company’s policies and procedures
  • Prepare, analyze, and explain variances in balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management
  • Contribute to improving the department’s internal processes
  • Support Junior and Mid-Level Analysts in carrying out their activities and professional development
  • Collaborate with various departments across the Company
  • Monitor and enhance controls supporting accounting information
  • Review accounting procedures and initiate improvements and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or currently in the final year of an Accounting program
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian Accounting Pronouncements (CPCs) and IFRS
  • Hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a team
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking for analyses and discussions with other departments
  • Proactivity, strong communication skills, and versatility
  • Initiative in identifying and implementing digital solutions
  • Experience with financial close processes and account reconciliations
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP, FI module
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Knowledge of programming and databases
  • Intermediate English and/or Spanish
