Key responsibilities & impact- Build, test, implement, enhance, maintain, and support data pipelines within the Databricks cloud workgroup and other analytical/operational systems
- Extract data from the enterprise CDW cloud environment and deliver reliable, analysis-ready datasets
- Design and maintain bidirectional data movement between the enterprise CDW, cloud workgroup, and operational systems
- Support NTSP workflows, processes, initiatives, programs, and projects
- Implement source-of-truth logic, conflict resolution, and synchronization integrity
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT logic using SQL/Spark SQL, PySpark, and Python
- Produce reproducible, version-controlled, auditable code
- Implement patient-matching and record-linkage logic with auditing of prior matches
- Harmonize datasets across facilities and sources
- Implement automated validation checks at extraction and delivery
- Develop data flow maps
- Deliver clean, well-modeled data for the Government's Informatics team to use in Power BI and other analytical reporting platforms
- Develop administrator and technical documentation and facilitate transfer to the Government upon task order conclusion
- Develop administrator training materials and presentations
- Provide a transition plan detailing frequency and competencies needed for continuity of NTSP efforts
- Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, enhancements, updates, and management transition for developed applications and documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience building, testing, implementing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting cloud data pipelines, including Databricks
- Experience with enterprise cloud CDW environments and analytical/operational systems
- Proficiency in SQL/Spark SQL, PySpark, and Python
- Experience developing ETL/ELT extraction and transformation logic
- Experience implementing patient-matching and record-linkage logic using multiple identifiers
- Experience harmonizing datasets across facilities and sources
- Experience implementing automated validation checks, missingness reporting, range checks, and impossible-value checks
- Experience developing data flow maps and documenting inputs, outputs, data sources, update frequency, and internal controls
- Experience delivering well-modeled data for Power BI or other analytical reporting platforms
- Experience developing administrator and technical documentation, training materials, presentations, and transition plans
- Ability to provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, enhancements, and updates
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
