Key responsibilities & impact- Lead architecture, design, and hands-on development of secure, scalable software platforms
- Set technical direction and translate complex requirements into scalable engineering solutions

- Drive AI/ML and intelligent automation capabilities for risk, compliance, and access governance

- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar through hands-on leadership, reusable engineering patterns, and continuous improvement

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company; OR
- 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company
- Extensive software engineering experience focused on information security and IT security architecture
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business requirements
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security controls, and business continuity planning
- Expertise in coding standards, debugging, and implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience developing test strategies, defect management, and quality assurance processes
- Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical designs
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Preferred: Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC
- Preferred: Master’s degree and 3 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects
- Preferred: Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
