About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver group online instruction to 2–6 students
- Utilize pre-existing teaching materials to ensure thorough comprehension of the subject matter
- Assess and grade students' in-class performance
- Provide constructive feedback to facilitate academic progress
- Ensure timely completion of the curriculum within designated timelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area
- High school teaching experience considered advantageous
- Able to offer 2–3 available time slots during weekdays
- Cooperative demeanor with staff
- Passion for teaching
- Flexible schedule for evenings and weekends
- Availability during Central Time: Option 1, 8:00 pm–10:30 pm three times per week (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday), minimum 7.5 hours per week; or Option 2, 8:00 pm–10:30 pm twice per week (Monday and Wednesday), minimum 5 hours per week
- Tools such as a tablet or stylus to assist with explaining problem-solving to students
