About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in structured corporate internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development activities
- Support the Business Resumption team within Corporate Risk Management on disaster recovery, third-party resiliency, business continuity, and incident and crisis response
- Coordinate reviews of cyber or ransomware response plans by contacting plan owners, establishing deadlines, scheduling meetings, communicating expectations, and helping ensure timely updates
- Collaborate with plan owners across the organization to coordinate assigned work, manage deadlines, and guide plan review conversations
- Support resiliency and preparedness activities related to technology recovery, vendor recovery capabilities, critical business processes, and incident response
- Gain exposure to Information Security Risk Management and Records Information Management
- Apply training and feedback while building skills in project coordination, documentation, stakeholder communication, and risk awareness
- Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines, and complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree student with sophomore, junior, or senior standing at the time of internship start date; must not have graduated prior to internship start date
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Comfort learning specialized recovery-planning and emergency-notification systems
- Must directly represent yourself and your own experiences during recruiting and hiring
- Successful completion of a thorough background check
- Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines
