About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver Russian lessons according to Berlitz teaching principles, focusing on students’ goals, needs, and interests
- Conduct level assessments and needs analyses
- Teach private and group students at the Learning Center, offsite locations, or virtually
- Participate in lesson evaluations and coaching plans with the Academic Specialist
- Complete assigned training and professional development modules
- Maintain current student pedagogical and attendance records
- Integrate learning technology into teaching programs
- Maintain shared teaching resource materials
- Perform additional duties delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist
Requirements
What you’ll need- Eligible to work in the US
- Four-year college/university degree or equivalent
- Fluent in Russian
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Russian
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility in working hours
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Availability during the day
- Ability to talk or hear regularly; stand, walk, use hands, reach, and occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force
- Comfort working in a professional office environment with standard office equipment
