Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods and Python
- 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
- Experience writing hardware drivers, integrating with COTS hardware, creating test benches, regression testing, visualizing sensor data, and UI/UX with Python and external frameworks via REST API
- Experience with Agile methodology, software engineering, product management, and software products
- Experience with full-stack development, including back-end and front-end development
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 9+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
- Nice to have: 3+ years of experience with client-server architecture and cloud development
- Nice to have: Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
- Nice to have: Experience with Java, Python, C#, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP, Drupal, or React
- Nice to have: Ability to work with automated testing tools
- Nice to have: DHS Suitability
- Nice to have: Master's degree
