About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build and support extensions, integrations, reports and data solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management transformations
  • Translate functional designs into technical designs and estimates
  • Deliver X++ extensions using Chain of Command, event handlers and the extension framework
  • Build and maintain integrations using data entities, DMF, OData, custom services, business events, Azure integration services and Power Platform
  • Develop SSRS, Electronic Reporting and Power BI reports and documents, plus forms, workflows, batch jobs and security objects
  • Deliver technical solutions for warehouse and manufacturing processes, including Warehouse Management mobile app extensions, scanning and label printing
  • Build data migration entities and packages and support trial migrations, reconciliation and cutover
  • Manage source control, builds and releases through Azure DevOps, LCS and Power Platform admin center
  • Manage environments, deployable packages and One Version updates
  • Support unit, system, integration, performance and regression testing; resolve defects; provide go-live and hypercare support
  • Maintain technical documentation, follow code review and quality standards, raise risks early and support the wider consulting team
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, integration specialists, client technical teams and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on development experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solutions
  • AX 2012 experience valued
  • Strong X++ skills and solid understanding of the D365 FSCM extension model, data model, security and application architecture
  • Experience building integrations using data entities, DMF, OData, custom services and Azure integration services
  • Experience developing SSRS and/or Electronic Reporting solutions and using data migration tooling
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, source control, build pipelines, LCS and environment management
  • Ability to work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders, explain technical options clearly, manage priorities and deliver outcomes within a distributed project team
  • Experience across finance, supply chain, manufacturing and warehousing modules, including traceability-focused environments such as food, agribusiness or distribution
  • Experience with Power Platform, Power BI or Microsoft Fabric
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as MB-500
