Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years as a DevOps engineer, including hands-on ownership of production infrastructure for a high-traffic, multi-tenant SaaS
- 3+ years hands-on with AWS and production Kubernetes (EKS) operated at real scale (hundreds of nodes / thousands of pods)
- Strong experience with GitOps and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD or equivalent)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, e.g. GitHub Actions
- Solid experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems, e.g. Datadog, Coralogix, Prometheus/Grafana
- Experience with production incident response
- Strong scripting / coding skills with leveraging AI LLM tooling like Cursor or Claude Code
- Working knowledge of cloud networking, Linux, and security best practices, including IAM least-privilege and secrets management
- Experience running a multi-cluster EKS environment in a multi-region DR/resiliency environment
- Cloud cost-optimization (FinOps) experience and a track record of designing for scale
- Exposure to database/data-platform operations at scale, including RDS/Aurora MySQL, read replicas/sharding, DMS/CDC, and ClickHouse
- DevSecOps mindset and experience hardening infrastructure for enterprise compliance
- BA/BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Experience collaborating with distributed or cross-functional engineering teams
