About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Uphold excellence and high standards in preventive maintenance programs and conservation practices
- Work closely with the building manager to monitor M&E projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Deliver complete and accurate facility management reports consistently
- Carry out regular inspections, quality control, and supervision of technicians and sub-contractors
- Provide facility, contract, and procurement management for technical services to the client
- Contribute to financial targets, key performance indicators, and service level agreements
- Ensure 24-hour emergency support as the initial first responder
- Manage on-site mechanical, electrical, plumbing installations, and civil maintenance
- Prepare critical spares lists based on manufacturers’ recommendations
- Provide engineering and technical assessments to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and implement solutions
- Plan maintenance inventory for in-house teams
- Develop and implement pre-emptive maintenance programs
- Keep logbooks, checklists, and schedules up to date
- Arrange ad-hoc M&E setups based on client requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- A diploma or degree in engineering, ideally in electrical or mechanical engineering
- 3 - 7 years of experience in facilities management
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team, both in a leadership capacity and as an individual contributor
- Familiarity with the functionality of IBMS/BMS alarm management and maintenance modules is an added advantage
