About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end user experience for a product area within a core product squad
- Produce annotated flows, coded prototypes, LLM-generated specifications, or polished Figma files as appropriate
- Ensure handoff files are complete, accurate, and consistent with the design system
- Solve complex product-domain problems with simple user experiences
- Contribute to UX for AI-powered capabilities, including proactive recommendations, generative summaries, and predictive insights
- Design trust, transparency, and error-state details for reliable enterprise AI features
- Conduct research and interpret product analytics to uncover user needs and measure design impact
- Talk directly with customers and run quick tests
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders on strategy and design execution
- Own the design relationship with the product area end to end
- Improve and expand the design system and advocate for consistency and pattern reuse
- Collaborate with design peers through feedback and craft development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer
- Meaningful portfolio of shipped work across the full development lifecycle
- Proven experience designing for a complex B2B or Enterprise SaaS product, ideally in a data-heavy domain
- Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools
- Figma proficiency, including experience with component libraries, auto-layout, and developer-ready handoff files
- Comfort with AI-powered tools, including LLMs, Cursor, and Claude Code
- Experience designing for AI/ML-driven features with strong attention to trust, explainability, and error states
- Ability to operate autonomously and deliver high-quality work without significant direction
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Portfolio showcasing deep UX thinking, clear user journeys, and a high degree of visual polish
- Preferred: experience contributing to or maintaining a multi-platform design system, including pattern documentation and component creation
- Preferred: background in Financial Services, Investment Management, Real Estate, or adjacent industries
- Preferred: experience designing complex tables, filters, and data visualization tools
- Preferred: experience planning and running customer interviews or usability tests
- Preferred: based in the SF Bay Area to facilitate in-person collaboration with local teams
