Key responsibilities & impact- Complete and narrate real mechanical design and CAD tasks on a personal Mac
- Create high-quality training data for advanced AI models
- Work through real engineering design workflows to benchmark and improve AI models
- Explain engineering decisions during task completion

- Complete a brief paid assessment
- Work approximately 10–20 hours per week
- Collaborate with leading researchers on AI training projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must own a MacBook or Mac with an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor, running macOS 15 or higher
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Hands-on 3D modeling and drafting experience
- Proficiency in Mac-compatible CAD tools such as Fusion 360, Onshape, Shapr3D, or FreeCAD
- Familiarity with GD&T and engineering drawings is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Masters studies, or 2–3 years of relevant professional experience plus a Bachelor's degree from a prestigious institution
- Ability to clearly explain engineering decisions while working
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work as an independent contractor
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
