- Ensure low-latency connectivity between virtual desktops and on-premises/cloud resources
- Implement and monitor security groups, IAM policies, and KMS encryption
- Align the DaaS environment with healthcare software standards
- Optimize end-user experience across Windows, macOS, web, and zero clients
- Troubleshoot complex endpoint performance issues
- Analyze AWS Cost Explorer and CloudWatch metrics
- Right-size instances using Auto-stop versus Always-on configurations
- Reduce departmental cloud spend
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related fields
- 5+ years as a Cloud Engineer, preferably in AWS or GCP
- AWS WorkSpaces experience
- VPC Networking experience
- Active Directory experience
- PowerShell and Python
- 7+ years as a Cloud Engineer preferred
- 3+ years specifically in AWS WorkSpaces preferred
- Terraform/IaC preferred
- AWS Directory Service preferred
- AppStream 2.0 preferred
- FSx for Windows preferred
