Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience working with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Knowledge of security, networking, and IAM best practices
- Proficiency in Python with ability to write clean, reusable, and testable code
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
- Familiarity with monitoring, telemetry, and alerting tools such as New Relic
- Proactive approach to monitoring, maintaining, and improving system performance and availability
- Desire to learn Systems and Security Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration and organization skills
- Comfort working on team projects
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field required
- Must be available to work onsite at Nordstrom's headquarters in Seattle, WA a minimum of 4 days/week
- Participation in a shared on-call rotation
