About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engineer and manage AWS infrastructure for a utilities company
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Perform DevOps, automation, networking, security, governance, identity and access management
  • Manage AWS compute, storage, networking, connectivity, monitoring, backup, and governance services
  • Apply AWS CAF and Well-Architected Framework principles to landing zones, resiliency, and cost optimization
  • Work on site in Tampa, Florida four days per week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school education required
  • Strong AWS infrastructure knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, Terraform, DevOps, automation, networking, and security
  • Experience with AWS Compute & Storage: EC2, S3, EBS, and load balancing
  • Experience with AWS Networking: VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPN, and hybrid connectivity
  • Experience with AWS Governance & Security: Organizations, Control Tower, IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty
  • Experience with IaC & Automation: Terraform, Git, CI/CD, AWS CLI, Python/PowerShell
  • Experience with Operations & Monitoring: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, AWS Backup
  • Experience with Identity & Access: IAM, SSO/federation, cross-account access, MFA
  • Experience with AWS architecture: AWS CAF, Well-Architected Framework, landing zones, resiliency, and cost optimization
  • Azure, Ansible, Kubernetes/EKS, and FinOps experience are nice to have
