Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering focused on building enterprise-grade applications
- 4+ years developing scalable, high-performance, high availability microservices
- 4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and implementing infrastructure as code
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries
- 2+ years of Google Ad Manager or any other ad server experience
- 2+ years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular
- Advanced proficiency in Python 3, with expert-level knowledge required; a coding assessment will be administered
- Elasticsearch experience or other cloud-native search technologies
- Hands-on experience using AI-based development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
- Desired: observability and performance monitoring tools including New Relic and Sentry
- Desired: Docker, Amazon ECS, and Kubernetes
- Desired: cloud security concepts and protocols including OAuth2, JWT, HMAC, data encryption, hashing, and secret management
- Desired: digital advertising platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Kevel, Sizmek, and DV360
- Desired: healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and PHI
- Desired: software development focused on customer feedback and iterative improvement
