Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD
- Experience with data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and data serving patterns
- Familiarity integrating APIs, event streams, databases, and messaging platforms
- Exposure to event-driven and asynchronous architectures
- Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Structured Streaming, Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, and Medallion Lakehouse architecture
- Experience operating and maintaining Databricks platforms in production, including configuration, security, governance, monitoring, cost optimization, and performance tuning
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and platform automation using Terraform, Bicep, or similar
- Experience with Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, AKS, or equivalent
- Understanding of monitoring, alerting, logging, troubleshooting, incident management, and operational excellence
- Legal right to work in the Netherlands
- Must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU; relocation from another country is not supported
