About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete inspections for various equipment and inspection product types using the iInspector application
- Coordinate or perform tasks to prepare equipment for inspection
- Create strategic routes to improve efficiency for remote inspections
- Select appropriate inspection checklists for unique equipment types
- Assess equipment condition and provide thorough descriptive information
- Upgrade or downgrade inspection types when warranted by equipment condition
- Resolve equipment identification, readiness, and technical issues
- Organize daily tasks for effective multichannel sale processing
- Act as lead onsite coordinator for large remote sales
- Mentor junior-level inspectors
- Support auction day activities as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience in a related equipment industry environment
- Proficient equipment operator experience
- Comprehensive understanding of common and specialized equipment types
- Ability to professionally communicate with sales staff and external customers
- Ability to work in field office and outdoor environments
- Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites as needed
- Ability to work primarily from a home area within approximately 30 miles of Indianapolis, IN
- Ability to use the iInspector application
