Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain the native Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders on requirements review, solution suggestions, and effort estimation
- Ensure the mobile application is user friendly, efficient, and adaptive to different screen sizes and device models
- Optimise the application for maximum speed, stability and scalability
- Implement authentication, session management and secure data storage to enterprise security standards
- Implement location-based features and location-triggered push notifications
- Investigate and resolve production issues, including crash analysis, root cause analysis and hotfixes
- Implement app monitoring and analytics
- Implement app localisation in multiple languages and accessibility support
- Write and maintain unit and UI test cases, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Take ownership of features and modules end to end, review peers' code against team standards, and contribute to technical design discussions
- Update internal knowledge base and operational documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Experience implementing location services and push notifications
- Experience with OAuth 2.0/OIDC, session management and secure credential storage
- Experience integrating third-party libraries
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining unit and UI tests
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Scrum practices
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
- Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous learning
- English at C1 – the working language with the client
