- Establish patterns, documentation, and error-handling conventions for scalable integrations.
- Independently manage existing integrations, troubleshoot cross-system issues, and build standard workflows.
- Design advanced integration architectures and establish enterprise-level governance standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years building and shipping production software, with solid backend fundamentals; Python and/or Go preferred.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining integrations against third-party APIs, including REST/SOAP, webhooks, OAuth and API-key auth, pagination, rate limiting, and upstream schema changes.
- Experience with data pipelines and orchestration, including scheduling, retries, sequencing, and monitoring workflows across systems.
- Solid SQL and ability to reason about data models and transformations.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, CRM, or ERP systems and their data models.
- Strong documentation habits.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Based in Calgary and legally authorized to work in Alberta without need for additional visa support now or in the future.
