About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop production processes to improve performance standards
- Establish new production processes
- Create production documentation, including setup sheets, CNC programs in NX CAM, and routings
- Verify programs in Vericut
- Create cutting tools in TDM
- Coordinate with vendors to create tool libraries in TDM, develop postprocessors for various machines, and create Vericut templates
- Supervise less experienced engineering personnel by checking calculations and engineering solutions
- Review drawings, part reports, and procedures to ensure parts can be produced safely and efficiently
- Provide Quality Notification dispositions where required
- Participate in engineering solutions according to TechnipFMC standards, procedures, schedules, budgets, quality targets, and customer satisfaction objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline preferred or equivalent
- More than 12+ years of relevant experience in CNC programming and operating CNC machines
- Good command of English
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Service/customer-oriented
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and project culture
- Strong basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of cutting tools, parameters, and applications
- Knowledge of different kinds of attachment tooling
- Proficiency in CAM (Siemens NX or another CAM tool) and PLM Systems (TCE)
- Knowledge of Vericut simulation and machine building
- Oil and Gas industry exposure
- Knowledge of Renishaw probe cycles and their uses in CNC programs
- Understanding of postprocessors
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Frequent evening and/or early morning calls to support multiple global manufacturing locations
